We designed a small, phenomenal tree garden to cast shadows on this southwest-facing wall to animate its surface throughout the seasons. A cultivar of the native serviceberry, Amelanchier canadensis, ’White Pillar’ complements the neoclassical columns of Pilgrim Hall in Plymouth, MA and is closely planted along the accessible ramp to the Pilgrim Museum addition designed by CYMA 2 Architects.
